This standard specifies general performance requirements for procedures for determining the concentration of chemical agents in workplace air. Such requirements apply to all measuring procedures, irrespective of the chemical nature or physical form (gas, vapour, suspended matter) of the agent, and irrespective of sampling method or analytical method used.
