Abstract This standard specifies a test method for checking the leaktightness of elastomeric sealing ring type joints and mechanical joints (excluding fusion joints and adhesive type joints) for thermoplastics pressure piping when the external hydrostatic pressure is greater than the pressure within the pipe.
