Abstract This section of IEC 605-3 contains preferred test conditions as referred to in 8.4 of IEC 605-1. Test cycles with a low degree of simulation should whenever possible be chosen among those given in the section of IEC 605-3. For test cycles with a high degree of simulation and for applications not covered by IEC 605-3, approriate test cycles should be designed using IEC 605-2.
