notifikasi kalau penceroboh dikesan.

Smart homes are thought of as places where people live in where there are devices
and physical objects connected to the internet, featuring intelligent technology which is
able to simplify everyday activities. The objectives of this project are to measure the
response time and efficiency, and to enhance the capabilities of the smart home system.
The project makes use of two units of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, four sensors and LEDs,
to represent home appliances. OpenCV is used for accurate detection of intruders and a
camera is used to live stream the home. The user interface is an Android application where
the user is able to monitor and control the home appliances, view the live streaming, and
receive notifications should an intruder be detected in the home. For the first objective, the
measurement of the response time was carried out in four different situations, namely
during monitoring of appliances, control of appliances, launching the live stream and
receipt of notification in the smartphone. The response of the monitoring of appliance was
found to be the best performing one out of the four, at an average of 0.1648 s, while the
slowest response was found to be the launch of the live stream in the application, at an
average of 6.2 s. As for the second objective, the number of smart home features in the
system was counted to check if all the criteria of a smart home are satisfied, and it is found
to satisfy all five of the criteria. Hence, these findings are hoped to suffice as reference to
future researchers who would like to improve the system.
