Projek ini adalah untuk membangunkan sebuah robot memanjat dengan kepintaran buatan menggunakan Arduino UNO mikropengawal dari segi mekanikal dan perisian. Bahagian-bahagian mekanikal robot telah direka menggunakan perisian ToT 2012. Bahagian mekanikal terbahagi kepada dua bahagian iaitu mekanisme bergerak dan mekanisme mencengkam. Pencengkam digunakan untuk menggemgam tiang condong ketika operasi memanjat. Seterusnya, roller digunakan untuk mengurangkan geseran dan menampung berat keseluruhan robot. Aluminums digunakan untuk membuat robot kerana kuat dan ringan. Litar pengantara antara mikropengawal dan peranti lain seperti suis had, servo motor dan motor DC yang perlu untuk mencapai objektif projek. Arduino UNO mikropengawal digunakan sebagai pengawal utama kepada sistem. Kod yang direka diprogramkan dalam perisian pengaturcaraan Arduino dengan menggunakan bahasa C untuk pengesahan. Arduino mikropengawal dan pemandu motor diuji untuk menyemak status peranti. Reka bentuk robot yang dicadangkan ini telah diuji pada tiang condong. Hasil pendakian itu sangat menggalakkan dan membuktikan bahawa reka bentuk robot ini dapat digunakan. ___________________________________________________________________________________ This project is to develop an artificial intelligent climbing robot using Arduino UNO microcontroller in terms of hardware and software. The robot's mechanical parts was designed using SolidWorks 2012 software. Hardware development is divided into two sections which are moving mechanism and gripping mechanism. Grippers is used as a clamper for climbing operation. Next, roller mechanism is installed in order to reduce the friction and to withstand the weight of entire robot. Aluminums are used for the robot fabrication because they are strong and light. Interfacing circuit between microcontroller and other devices such as limit switches, servo motor and DC geared motor are need to achieve project objectives. Arduino UNO microcontroller is used as main controller to the system. The designed coding is programmed in Arduino programming software by using C language for verification and uploading. Arduino microcontroller and motor driver was tested in order to check the status of the devices. During the development stage, this proposed robot design was tested on inclined pole. The result of the climbing was very encouraging and proved that the robot design is applicable.
