Abstract This part of BS 5551 specifies a method for determining the static angle of repose of solid fertilizers. The test measures the maximum angle at which a pile of fertilizer material remains stable without sliding, providing an indication of its flow and handling characteristics. The method applies to all types of solid fertilizers and is used to assess their suitability for storage, packaging, and mechanical handling processes.
