Abstract This standard specifies requirements for: Scheduling (bar/fabric schedules), dimensioning, bending, and cutting of steel reinforcement used for concrete. It applies to reinforcement conforming to: BS 4449 (carbon steel bars), BS 4482 (cold reduced steel wire), BS 4483 (steel fabric), BS 6744 (austenitic stainless steel).
