This British Standard specifies the dimensions, features, and tolerances for circular mechanical interfaces — specifically Form A — used between industrial robots and their end-effectors (such as grippers, tools, or sensors).
It applies to mechanical interfaces designed to allow interchangeability and compatibility of components across different robot systems, particularly where end-effectors need to be mounted to the wrist or end of a robot arm.
