Abstract This Group of Part 2 of BS 4727, prepared under the direction of the General Electrotechnical Engineering Standards Policy Committee, contains terms and definitions relating to telecontrol terminology. The terms and definitions given in this British Standard are technically identical with the corresponding terms appearing in Chapter 371 of the International Electrotechnical Vocabulary, published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
