BS EN 125500:1996 - Harmonized system of quality assessment for electronic components. Sectional specification: magnetic oxide ring cores for interference suppression and low level signal transformer applications

Abstract This Sectional Specification prescribes the characteristics, ratings and inspection requirements of assessed quality for ring cores made of soft magnetic oxides and iron powders. Such cores are intended for chokes for interference suppression and also for low level signal transformers for professional and industrial applications (see note below). In order to increase winding ease and to improve voltage breakdown, the cores are often provided with protective coatings. In annex A methods for testing voltage breakdown are given.; in annex B a standard series of ring cores is listed.
