BS EN 60068-2-63:1995 is a European standard that specifies the requirements for testing equipment and components under severe thermal conditions. The standard is titled "Environmental testing - Part 2-63: Tests - Test method L: Solderability testing of electronic components and printed boards."
The purpose of this standard is to ensure that electronic components and printed circuit boards are able to withstand the thermal stress of soldering without damage or degradation.
