Asal projek ini adalah menggalakkan dan motivasi pelajar SPM untuk melibatkan diri dalam sains dan kejuruteraan bidang dengan menunjukkan keupayaan kenderaan penerbangan uunmanned yang unik. UAV boleh dikategorikan kepada empat prinsip iaitu aerodinamik, reka bentuk struktur kerangka pesawat udara, kestabilan dan kawalan sistem, dan sistem pendorongan. UAV Rekabentuk Struktur, Analisis dan Fabrikasi adalah tajuk projek ini. Kelajuan perlahan tetap sayap UAV adalah keperluan minimum projek ini. Reka bentuk punah kelajuan dan kelajuan pelayaran adalah 10 km/jam dan 16 km/jam, kelajuan it adalah lebih rendah daripada kipas sayap UAV pengawasan pada tahun 2008. Beberapa konfigurasi konsep UAV akan dipertimbangkan. UAV asas reka bentuk fasa akan dijalankan dalam projek ini. Selepas penutup luar UAV direka, struktur kerangka pesawat udara akan direka mengenai kepada prinsip asas reka bentuk pesawat struktur. Daya yang bertindak seperti daya aerodinamik disekitar UAV akan ditentukan supaya UAV kerangka terperinci reka bentuk struktur boleh dioptimumkan kepada kekuatan yang optimum kepada nisbah berat badan. Selain itu, sebenar kerangka pesawat udara berat struktur mestilah kurang daripada kerangka struktur berat reka bentuk. Semasa proses reka bentuk, pemilihan bahan memainkan peranan yang penting. Bahan-bahan yang kuat dan sengit dengan berat badan yang diterima dan kos adalah matlamat akhir pemilihan. Secara umum, kayu balsa adalah bahan yang disyorkan untuk ringan UAV tetapi terdapat banyak kelas kayu balsa. Kaedah-kaedah fabrikasi dikaji dan pemilihan kaedah fabrikasi adalah sangat penting. Ia akan menentukan kualiti produk dan penyelewengan hasil produk dari hasil reka bentuk terutamanya berat struktur kerangka pesawat udara. UAV fasa reka bentuk akan ditubuhkan. The kerangka kaedah reka bentuk struktur dan pengoptimuman yang akan ditunjukkan dalam projek ini. ___________________________________________________________________________________ The origin of this project is encouraging and motivating SPM student to involve themselves into science and engineering field by demonstrating a unique capability uunmanned aviation vehicle. UAV can be categorized into four principles which are aerodynamicist, airframe structural design, stability and control system, and propulsion system. UAV Airframe Structural Design, Analysis and Fabrication is the title of this project. The slow speed fixed wing UAV is the minimum requirement of this project. Its design stalling speed and cruising speed are 10 km/h and 16 km/h respectively which are lower than fan wing surveillance UAV year 2008. Several UAV conceptual configurations will be considered. The basic UAV design phases will be carried out in this project. After the UAV shell is designed, the airframe structure will be designed regarding to the fundamental principle of the aircraft structural design. The acting forces such as aerodynamic forces around the UAV are determined so the detail airframe structural design can be optimized to its optimum strength to weight ratio. Beyond that, the detail airframe structural weight must be less than the airframe structural design weight. During the design process, the material selection plays an important role. Strong and stiff materials with acceptable weight and cost are the final aim of the selection. In general, the balsa wood is the recommended material for light UAV but there are many classes of balsa wood. The fabrication methods are studied and the selection of the fabrication method is very important. It will decide the product quality and the deviation of the product result from the design result especially the airframe structural weight. The UAV design phases will be formed. The airframe structural design method and its optimization will be demonstrated in this project.
