This Part of BS 3446 has been prepared under the direction of the Refractory Products Standards Policy Committee. Together with Parts 1 and 2 it forms a revision of BS 3446:1962, which is withdrawn. Much of the work in preparing BS 3446 was conducted under a joint BSI/DTI1) Consultancy Scheme.
