Motor aruhan digunakan secara meluas dalam industri oleh kerana banyak kelebihan. Projek ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesan tiga fasa bekalan voltan tidak seimbang terhadap tiga fasa motor aruhan sangkar tupai. Daripada kajian menunjukkan prestasi motor terjejas dari segi kelajuan, kecekapan, suhu dan tenaga yang digunakan. Selain itu, kadar keterjejasan di antara jenis-jenis ketidak seimbangan voltan turut didedahkan. Kelajuan dan kecekapan motor menurun apabila peratus faktor ketidak seimbangan menigkat. Selain itu, suhu motor lebih tinggi untuk bekalan voltan tidak seimbang berbanding dengan bekalan voltan seimbang. Hal ini, boleh mengurangkan jangka hayat motor aruhan ditambah pula kesan-kesan jangka pendek dan juga kesan-kesan jangka panjang. Dalam masa yang sama, dalam projek ini menunjukkan tiga fasa ketidak seimbangan kurang bekalan voltan adalah yang paling terjejas disebabkan faktor ketidak seimbangan voltan manakala satu fasa ketidak seimbangan kurang bekalan voltan adalah yang paling kurang sekali terjejas. Kecekapan tiga fasa ketidak seimbangan kurang bekalan voltan adalah yang rendah sekali jika dibandingkan dengan yang lain pada faktor keseimbangan voltan yang sama begitu juga pada kelajuan motor aruhan. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Due to many advantages widely used in the industry. The purpose of this project is to investigate the effect of three phase unbalance voltage supply to the three phase squirrel cage induction motor. The project shows that the performance of motor is affected in terms of speed, efficiency, temperature and energy consumption. Besides, the degree of effects between difference types of unbalance voltage also point out. The speed as well as the efficiency of motor reduces as the percentage of voltage unbalance factor increases. Besides, the motor temperature is higher for unbalance voltage supplied to the motor compared with balance voltage supply. This might decrease the life span of induction motor besides giving effect in short term or long term. Meanwhile, from the project, it has shown that the three phase under-unbalance is the most affected by the voltage unbalance factor whereas the single phase under-unbalance voltage is the least affected by the voltage unbalance factor. The efficiency of the induction motor during three phase under-unbalance is the lowest if compare to other unbalance voltage types at the same voltage unbalance factor as well as the speed of the induction motor.
