Abstract This Part of BS 1722 specifies requirements for chain link or welded mesh fences and gates for anti-intruder purposes, approximately 2.4 m to the top of the mesh above the ground at the posts and approximately 2.80 m in vertical height to the top line of barbed wire attached to the tops of the posts or to extension arms.
