mempunyai cukup rehat sebelum memandu.
iaitu pemerolehan imej sampel jalan, pembangunan algoritma pemprosesan imej,
pembangunan kaedah Hough transformasi pengekstrakan ciri imej, pembangunanan pinggir
fungsi taburan (EDF) pengelas pelencongan jalan.
mengurangkan berlaku kemalangan atas jalan disebabkan keletihan pemandu.

Lane-departure classification is a very important feature in the automobile industry and it is
used in many cars nowadays. When a driver drives for a long time, driver will fall into fatigue
state especially for those drivers who do not have enough rest before driving. This will
increase the probability of driver falls asleep unconsciously and the risk of accident to happen
on the road. This project presents a lane-departure warning system to assist driver in observing
road condition and give warning to driver when unintended lane departure happens. This
project includes four stages, which are acquisition of road sample images, image preprocessing,
Hough transform feature extraction and edge distribution function (EDF) lane-departure
classifier. This project utilizes an Asus notebook K53sv with Intel core I5 processor to develop
and run the system and a Logitech C920 web camera to capture road images for processing. A
total of 893 road sample images are captured from different road conditions which include
straight road and crooked road in city on day and night as well as highway. In this study,
investigation on the optimum parameters setting (edge strength and kernel size) of the Hough
transform feature extraction and threshold of trajectory deviation of EDF classifier were
carried out. From the investigation, the optimum parameter obtained for edge strength and
kernel size are 8 and 5 respectively. While threshold of trajectory deviation obtained is 15
degree. The lane-departure classification accuracy achieved for the final design is 81.30% out
of 893 sample road images. The average processing time of this system for an image frame is
57.45 milliseconds. This lane-departure warning system is believed that it has potential to
provide a lane-departure decision that can assist the driver in identifying lane-departure and
reduce accident on the road due to driver fatigue.
