This section of IEC 1000-4 is a basic EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) publication. It considers immunity tests for electric and/ or electronic equipment (apparatus and systems) in its electromagnetic environment. Both conducted and radiated phenomena are considered, this includes immunity test for equipment connected to power, control and communication networks.
