This part of ISO 4470 gives recommendations for the design of parts that are to be coated by painting or varnishing and covers four of the most commonly used methods whereby such coatings are applied, i.e.: (a) spray coatings; (b) dip coatings; (c) powder coatings; (d) electrophoretic coating.
