Abstract This Part of EN 1280 specifies requirements for agent-specific filling systems used with agent-specific anaesthetic vaporizers for anaesthetic agents excluding desflurane. NOTE 1: When used according to the instructions for use, the side effects or undesirable conditions of agent-specific filling systems constitute an acceptable risk when weighed against the performance. NOTE 2: Specifications for agent-specific filling systems for desflurane will be given in another part of EN 1280.
