Pemantauan kuasa yang digunakan oleh pengguna telah dikenalkan sejak tahun 1980 di United Kingdom. Sejak dari itu, permintaan penggunaan meter telah meningkat dan smart meter telah dicipta bagi memudahkan pengguna untuk mengetahui jumlah kuasa yang telah digunakan. Bagaimanapun, masalah yang paling besar untuk pemantauan meter adalah jumlah herotan harmonic (THD) kerana ia mampu mengganggu isyarat yang diterima oleh meter daripada bekalan kuasa. Tambahan pula, peralatan yang diperlukan untuk menunjuk bentuk gelombang voltan dan arus sinus bagi memudahkan pengguna meniliti jika gangguna yg berlaku tinggi ataupun rendah. Hal ini kerana, ia mungkin mampu mengganggu isyarat voltan dan isyarat arsu yang sepatutnya ditunjukkan oleh meter. Dalam projek ini, program LabVIEW akan papar isyarat voltan dan isyarat arus dan pemeteran isyarat voltan dan isyarat arus dari papan NI USB6009. Isyarat informasi dari pengecilan litar disambungkan kepada papan NI USB6009 sebelum isyaratnya dihantar kepada LabVIEW. Sebab untuk memilih LabVIEW adalah kerana ralat peratusannya adalah sangat rendah dan mudah untuk digunakan dan dipahamkan. LabVIEW juga boleh berfungsi untuk satu fasa mahupun tiga fasa sistem. Kesimpulannya, proses reka bentuk boleh dilakukan dengan mudah jika menggunakan LabVIEW dan keputusan daripada teori dan eksperimen bagi voltan, arus, kuasa ketara, kuasa reaktif, kuasa sebenar, dan faktor kuasa sepatutnya kurang dari 5%. Bagi kuasa sebenar maksimum adalah dalam beban resistor (114Ω) iaitu sebanyak 460.366W. Bagi kuasa ketara pula, maksimum adalah dalam beban resistor (114Ω) iaitu sebanyak 463.543VA, manakala bagi kuasa reaktif pula, maksimum adalah dalam beban kapasitif (114Ω +7μF) iaitu sebanyak 240.621VAR. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Monitoring the energy used by consumer has been introduced to worldwide since 1980 in United Kingdom. Since then, meter needed has been increased and nowadays smart meter has been created to ease people to know how much energy they used. The biggest problem of metering is THD which could disturb the signal received by the meter from power supply. Furthermore, an equipment needed to show the waveform of sinusoidal of voltage and current so that we can see if noise or distortion is high or low. This might disturb the voltage and current that should be monitored by the meter. In this project, a LabVIEW program will show the graph waveform and metering the voltage signal and current signal using NI USB6009 board. The information signal from attenuation circuit will be connected to NI USB6009 board before the signal sent to LabVIEW. The reason of choosing LabVIEW to monitor because of low percentage error and easy to use and understand. LabVIEW also can work in both single-phase and three-phase system. In conclusion the design of monitoring process can easily be done in LabVIEW and the result of theoretical and experimental of voltage, current, apparent power, reactive power, real power and power factor of percentage error should be less than 5%. The maximum active power obtain is in resistive load (114Ω) which is 460.366W, maximum apparent power is in resistive load (114Ω) which is 463.543VA while maximum reactive power is in capacitive load (114Ω + 7f) which is 240.621VAR.
