BS EN 10137-1:1996 is a British Standard that specifies the requirements for hot-rolled or cold-formed structural steel products with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance. The standard applies to steel products with a thickness of up to 150 mm and a maximum yield strength of 460 N/mm². The standard specifies the chemical composition, mechanical properties, and surface characteristics of the structural steel products. It also includes requirements for dimensions, tolerances, and testing methods. BS EN 10137-1:1996 is intended for use by manufacturers and users of hot-rolled or cold-formed structural steel products with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance.
