Printed version of this is available at library. To request, please e-mail to referencepk@usm.my and include a copy of this record in your e-mail.
This method of test describes the determination of the maximum density of a bituminous mixture. It is applicable to all types of bituminous mixture containing penetration grade bitumens or modified binders. Two methods are described. These are referred to as Method A, the weigh in water method, and Method B, the weigh in air method. Samples may be either loose mixtures (e.g. taken from plant or laboratory prepared bulk samples) or they can be prepared from compacted samples taken from the pavement or prepared in the laboratory. The test is suitable for use with both fresh or agedbituminous mixtures.
