Projek ini menyediakan kaedah entropi-stabil pengedaran-sisa (RD) untuk sistem persamaan air cetek dalam dua dimensi. Kaedah pengedaran sisa mempunyai pelbagai manfaat berbanding dengan kaedah isipadu terhingga (FV) dari segi permodelan fizik pelbagai dimensi dengan stensil yang lebih padat, mencapai ketepatan yang lebih tinggi. Walaubagaimanapun, jawapan yang hasil daripada kaedah-kaedah klasik RD mungkin tidak begitu teguh dalam keadaan tertentu, kawalan-entropi seterusnya dilaksanakan berdasarkan kaedah RD. Dengan kaedah baru ini, dibuktikannya memenuhi syarat pemuliharaan secara automatik berbanding dengan kaedah-kaedah RD yang sedia ada yang memerlukan syarat purata ciri-ciri tertentu yang menyusahkan. Keputusan eksperimen menunjukkan bahawa kaedah RD yang baru ini adalah lebih tepat keseluruhannya berbanding dengan kaedah-kaedah klasik RD. Jadi, kaedah entropistabil RD yang terhad juga termasuk dalam kajian ini untuk lebih banyak ujian ketepatan. Akhir sekali, idea kaedah RD pelbagai dimensi ini yang memulihara entropi dan mencapai kestabilan entropi boleh digunakan untuk sistem persamaan air cetek. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The project presents an entropy-stable residual distribution (RD) method in solving the shallow water equations in a two-dimensional frame. RD methods have advantages over finite volume methods in capturing the multi-dimensional wave characteristics with compact stencils, resulting in higher order of accuracy. However, the solutions from classic RD methods may not be robust enough in some specific situations, entropy-control is then implemented based on the RD approach. Using the new approach, the conservation of primary variables of the shallow water equations is automatic with the new signal distribution, without the need of complicated algebras or difficulties in the existing averaging-methods in RD. Numerical results of the entropy-stable RD method proves it to be more accurate compared to the classic RD methods (LDA and Lax Friedrichs). Hence, the limited entropy-stable RD method is also included for more accuracy tests. Lastly, the idea of multi-dimensional RD method which conserves entropy and achieve entropy-stability is applicable to the system of shallow water equations.
