Abstract This section of Part 2 of IEC Publication 598 specifies requirements for fixed general purpose luminaires for road and street lightning, for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 1 000 V. It is to be read in conjunction with those sections of Part 1 to which reference is made.
