Satu simulasi berangka untuk kesan lantai dengan jarak ketinggian dan sudut serang yang berbeza telah dijalankan. Eksprimen dijalankan pada sayap berairfoil NACA 4415 bersama VG dengan jarak ketinggian dan sudut serang yang berlainan untuk mengesahkan keputusan simulasi. Objektif utama penyelidikan ini adalah untuk mengkaji kesan lantai kepada prestasi aerodinamik sayap NACA 4415 dengan mengubah jarak ketinggian sayap dengan lantai. Eksperimen ini dijalankan dengan mengunakan ruang udara dengan corong, dan model penyelesaian Spalart-Allmaras digunakan dalam simulasi CFD. Simulasi ini dijalankan dengan keadaan aliran bernombor Reynolds 2.13x105. Pemerhatian menunjukkan bahawa sayap yang berketinggian rendah ke lantai akan meningkatkan prestasi aerodinamik dengan meningkatkan nilai maksimum pekali daya angkat pada sayap. Dalam kajian ini juga, jarak ketinggian per chord antara 0.05 kepada 0.1 menunjukkan terdapatnya kesan sedutanyang menyebabkan penurunan daya angkat yang ketara. ______________________________________________________________________________________ A numerical simulation for ground effect with different height and angle of attack has been carried out to a NACA 4415 wing with VGs. Experiment for ground effect in different height and angle of attack has been conducted to validate the simulation results. The main research objective of this project is to study the effects of ground by varying the NACA 4415 wing height relative to the ground to enhance the aerodynamic performance of the wing. The experiment has been conducted at the air chamber with nozzle, and Spalart-Allmaras was used as solver model in the CFD simulation. The simulation ran in flow condition with Reynolds number of 1.02 x105. It was observed that the wing with closer height to the ground resulted better performance in increasing maximum lift coefficient of wing. In this study, it also shows at the height per chord between 0.05 to 0.1, there is suction effect which resulting rapidly decreases in the lift.
