Pengeluaran biofuel menawarkan kemampuan yang boleh memaksimumkan faedah dan meminimumkan risiko. Pembangunan biofuel telah menjadi salah satu perkembangan pertanian yang paling ketara dalam tahun-tahun kebelakangan ini. Pelbagai bahan mentah yang ditemui dalam penghasilan biofuel. Yang terbaru adalah berdasarkan bakteria yang menghasilkan hidrogen dalam tempoh pembiakannya. Kajian ini adalah berkenaan dengan permodelan fermentasi spesis anabaena dengan menggunakan persamaan matematik. Untuk kajian ini, data diperolehi daripada Suhail et al., 2011. Dalam usaha untuk mengenalpasti proses dengan lebih cepat, perisian MATLAB telah digunakan. Perisian ini digunakan untuk meramal keputusan memandangkan pola pertumbuhan spesis bakteria sentiasa dijangka akan mengikuti persamaan Monod. Daripada proses peragaan ini, didapati bahawa model yang digunakan sesuai dengan data daripada kajian eksperimen. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Biofuel production offer sustainability that can maximize benefits and minimize risks. The development of biofuels has been one of the most significant agricultural developments in recent years. Various feed stocks are found to produce biofuel. The latest one is bacteria based that produce hydrogen during the bacteria growth period. This study is about modeling of bacteria which is anabaena sp. growth in batch fermentation by using numerical equation. The data obtained is from Suhail et al., 2011. In order to simulate the process faster, MATLAB software was used. The software was used to predict the result since growth trend of bacteria species is expected to followed the Monod equation. From the simulation, it is found that the model of biomass fit the data from experimental study.
