Objektif utama kajian ini adalah untuk mengesahkan keputusan analisis unsur terhingga untuk ruangan konkrit bertetulang dan membandingkan keputusan eksperimen yang dilaporkan oleh penyelidik terdahulu. Selain itu, kajian ini adalah untuk menentukan pengaruh ketebalan nominal konkrit, gred bar tetulang konkrit, kawasan keratan rentas dan gred untuk konkrit pada satu suhu pengedaran yang berlaku ketika pemindahan haba. Pemilihan elemen struktur yang paling penting dalam pembinaan telah dijalankan. Sampel pemodelan bagi elemen struktur telah dilakukan. Parameter pemodelan adalah ditentukan berdasarkan kekonduksian dan sifat haba bahan-bahan dalam ujian sebelum ini untuk mengurangkan ketidakpastian yang terlibat dalam analisis. Model ruangan persegi 0.3 x 0.3 m telah dijana untuk mengkaji taburan pemindahan haba dalam ruang konkrit bertetulang. Kemudian, beban api dikenakan ke atas model. Hasilnya akan menunjukkan taburan suhu dan parameter yang perlu dipertimbangkan supaya hasil yang lebih tepat dan boleh diterima. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The main objective for this study is the verification of temperature distribution for reinforced concrete column using finite element analysis results with the experimental results reported by previous researcher. Column member exposed to the heat was studied. Besides that, the study is also carried out to determine the influence of nominal concrete cover, grade of concrete, cross sectional area and steel reinforcement bar on temperature distribution within a column member. The finite element model of reinforced concrete column was developed using ABAQUS/CAE 6.12-1. The modelling parameters are calibrated for the conductivity and thermal properties of the materials within the previous test to reduce the uncertainties involved in analysis. A square column model of 0.3 x 0.3 m was generated to study the distribution of heat transfer in reinforced concrete column. Then, the fire load was applied to the model. The result shows the temperature distribution and the parameter needed to be considered so that the analysis results are more accurate and acceptable.
