BS 7136-1:1989 - Brush saws - Method of measurement at the operator's position of emitted airborne noise

Abstract This standard specifies the method for measuring the airborne noise emitted by brush saws (a type of power tool used for clearing vegetation), as experienced by the operator during normal use. It is part of a series aimed at providing a uniform procedure for determining sound pressure levels, enabling manufacturers and users to assess noise exposure risks and comply with health and safety regulations.
