Sistem keselamatan amaran kanak-kanak untuk kereta adalah amat penting bagi menyelamatkan nyawa kanak-kanak. Banyak kes yang berlaku dalam beberapa tahun yang lepas menyebabkan kematian kanak-kanak apabila mereka ditinggalkan bersendirian di dalam kereta oleh ibu bapa atau penjaga tanpa pengudaraan udara yang sempurna. Ini adalah kerana mereka tidak sedar akan kewujudan kanak-kanak terutama di tempat duduk belakang. Walaupun banyak sistem keselamatan telah dibangunkan, tiada tindakan diambil oleh masyarakat disebabkan system pemasangan yang rumit dan mahal. Dalam membantu masyarakat untuk menyelamatkan nyawa kanak-kanak tersebut, projek ini dibangunkan menggunakan himpunan komponen yang ringkas. Projek ini diatur secara empat peringkat, memperoleh status pintu, mengesan gerakan, menghantar penggera, dan juga pembangunan perisian. Sistem ini berfungsi dengan cara yang berikut: (1) jalankan arahan keseluruhan program, (2) memperolehi status pintu kereta, (3) membaca status sensor PIR, (4) mengaktifkan penggera bunyi, dan (5) menghantar mesej amaran melalui telefon bimbit. Penyiasatan dan ujian ke atas pelaksanaan pemasangan komponen telah dijalankan dan dikumpul. Sistem ini menguunakan Python sebagai bahasa pengatucaraan. Hasil yang dikeluarkan daripada sistem ini adalah dalam jangkaan dan objektif projek ini berjaya dicapai. Sistem keselamatan amaran kanak-kanak untuk kereta ini dibangunkan bertujuan untuk mereka bentuk satu sistem amaran untuk mengesan penghuni yang ditinggalkan di dalam kereta. ______________________________________________________________________________________ A safety car alert system is very important for saving the children’s lives. Many cases happened in the last few years that cause the children’s death when they are left behind alone in the car by the parents or guardian without proper air ventilation. This is due to the self-unconsciousness of parents or the guardian on the existence of the child especially at the back of the car seat. Although many systems for this situation have been developed, no actions are taken by the society due the complex and expensive installation of the system. In consideration to help the current society to save the children’s lives, this project is developed using a simple assembly of the components used. This project is progressed in four stages, which are acquiring of the door status, detecting the motions, sending the alarm and also software development using Python language. The system works in the following way: (1) run the whole program command, (2) acquire the car’s door status, (3) read the PIR sensor status, (4) activates the sound alarm, and (5) send the message alert through mobile phones. The investigation and tests on the implementation of the components assembly were carried out and collected. This system is run using Python as the programming language. The output produced from this system is within the expectation and the objectives of this project are successfully achieved. This safety car alert system developed in aiming to design an alert system for the left behind occupant in the car.
