The objective of this experiment is to find the effect of different parameter on the yield extraction of Centella asiatica by using conventional soxhlet extraction. The soxhlet extraction was conducted at 90◦C and 5 h to find the yield for each of the parameter. Ethanol had been proven to have the highest yield production which are 9.59% compared to methanol and water. This high yield prompted to use the solvent in the next experiment. For the solid ratio experiment, each of ethanol was added with water so can reduce the cost and toxicity. The ratio ethanol-water of 60:40 v/v solution had the highest yield production which are 7.62%. In the solid-to-solvent ratio experiment, the solid of CA was fixed at 2.0 g whereas the volume of the solvent which was modify. The volume used were 120 mL, 160 mL and 200 mL. Based on the experiment, the volume used 200 mL, the yield percentage seem to achieve maximum possible yield which are 8.92 %. All of the yield was tested on B. Cereus to find its antimicrobial activity by using the Kirby-Bauer antibiotic testing. Based on the result, it shown that when the yield for each parameter is at the highest, the inhibition zone also seen to been at the highest point.
