Disertasi ini merujuk kepada reka bentuk prototaip ringkas sistem penyejukkan menggunakan tenaga suria. Sistem ini merangkumi pengalih, “solar charge controller” motor/pam air, bateri dan radiator. Fotovolta sistem dipilih untuk panel suria. Analisis pam air dijalankan untuk mereka bentuk pam air yang cekap. Pam air sedia ada telah digunakan di dalam projek ini. Sistem ini menggunakan unsur penyejukan semula jadi seperti air untuk mengurangkan suhu di ruang berbanding dengan sistem penyejukan konvensional yang berada di pasaran sekarang ini. Radiator digunakan di dalam sistem ini sebagai penyerap haba untuk penyejukan. Sistem ini berjaya digunakan menggunakan dua panel-panel suria selari dan sistem ini boleh digunakan hampir dua jam sebelum bateri habis. Keputusan menunjukkan yang suhu ambien dalam ruang tertutup sedikit bersamaan dengan suhu ambient walaupun suhu di bawah bumbung tinggi sebanyak 15℃. _________________________________________________________________________________________ This dissertation presents a design of simple prototype cooling system using solar energy. The complete system comprise of inverter, solar charge controller, motor/water pump, batteries and radiator. Photovoltaic system is chosen for the solar panel. The available water pump is used in this work. The complete system used natural cooling element i.e water to reduce the temperature in the compartment. Aluminum radiator is constructed in the system as heat exchangers for cooling. The system is successfully operated using two parallel solar panels and this system can be used for almost two hours with battery backup. The result shows that the ambient temperature within the seal compartment is slightly equivalent to the ambient temperature even though the roof temperature is 15℃ higher
