rojek ini memberi tumpuan untuk mereka bentuk tiga jenis antena tag untuk frekuensi UHF untuk aplikasi RFID iaitu antena Berkelok Dwikutub, antena Berpusar Dwikutub dan antena Segi Empat Sama Berpusar. Kesemua antena-antena ini direka bentuk dan di simulasi menggunakan perisian “Advanced Design System (ADS)”. Kesemua antena-antena ini menggunakan suapan jenis suapan garis mikrojalur. Dimensi untuk setiap antena perlu ditentukan dan dimensi ini bakal menetukan saiz sebenar antena tag dan saiz maksimun untuk antena tag ialah 5cm × 5cm. Dalam menentukan jenis antena tag yang ingin direka bentuk, aspek kekutuban diambil kira iaitu kekutuban jenis lelurus dan kekutuban jenis melingkar. Antena Berkelok Dwikutub dan antena Berpusar Dwikutub adalah kekutuban jenis lelurus manakala antena Segi Empat Sama Berpusar adalah kekutuban jenis melingkar. Antena-antena ini direka untuk kegunaan RFID, dimana antena-antena ini mesti beroperasi dalam julat frekuensi bermula 919 MHz hingga 923 MHz dengan frekuensi tengah iaitu 921 MHz dan frekuensi ini merupakan frekuensi sasaran untuk kesemua antena-antena dalam projek ini. Kuasa pembalikan untuk antena-antena ini mesti kurang daripada -10 dB. Parameter-parameter lain seperti perolehan antena, keterusan antena dan pola sinaran untuk antena boleh ditentukan menggunakan simulasi perisian ADS. Bahan dielektrik yang digunakan adalah FR4. Selepas proses fabrikasi, penyambung SMA dipateri pada titik suapan antena. Proses ujikaji dan pengukuran dilakukan keatas antena-antena yang telah difabrikasi untuk mendapatkan nilai parameter-S, pola sinaran dan perolehan antena. Kemudian, kesimpulan akan dibuat daripada keputusan ujikaji ini. _____________________________________________________________________________________ This project is concentrate on designing three type UHF tag antenna for RFID application that is Dipole Meandered tag antenna, Dipole Spiral tag antenna and Square Spiral tag antenna. Those antennas are design and simulated using Advanced Design System (ADS) software. All antennas are used microstrip line feeding. Dimension for those 3 antennas must be determined first to make sure we get an accurate result. Also, the dimensions of all antennas need to give an attention because it will determine the size of the tag antenna. The limitation size for tag antenna is around 5cm × 5cm. In determined what type of tag antenna that we want to design, we considered the polarization which is linear polarized and circular polarized. Both Dipole Meandered tag antenna and Dipole Spiral tag antenna are linear polarized type while Square Spiral tag antenna is circular polarized type. To be working for RFID application, those tag antenna need to operate at frequency of 919 MHz to 923 MHz (Malaysia UHF band for RFID) with the center frequency of 921 MHz. This center frequency is target frequency for all tag antenna design in this project. The magnitude of S(1,1) which is refer to return loss should be more than -10dB. Other antenna parameters such as gain, directivity, and radiation pattern obtain from the simulation using ADS software. The FR4 substrate is use as dielectric substrate for tag antennas. After fabrication, SMA connector will be soldered at feeding path. Testing and measurement will be carried out for S-Parameter analysis, radiation pattern analysis and gain analysis. Lastly, conclusion will be made based on simulation and measurement result. Some improvement for those designs is expected for future usage in the world.
