This part of prEN 1301 specifies the tolerances on dimensions of aluminium and aluminium alloy drawn wire of general engineering applications including rivet manufacture (except aeronautical rivets), covering diameters, thicknesses or width across flats up to and including 20 mm. It applies to cold drawn wires, but not to drawing stock and drawn wire for welding and electrical purposes.
