Robot bergerak mengikut garisan adalah robot automatik yang dapat mengikuti garis hitam pada latar belakang putih atau garis putih pada latar belakang hitam. Robot ini menggunakan beberapa pengesan inframerah pada bahagian sensor untuk mengenal pasti garis hitam dan latar belakang putih. Robot ini bergerak menggunakan dua motor DC secara langsung untuk mengawal pergerakan roda. AVR Butterfly digunakan pada sensor dan dua motor DC. Kaedah Lebar Pemodulatan Pulse (PWM) digunakan dalam kawalan kelajuan motor. Jumlah kuasa yang dibekalkan kepada kelajuan motor boleh ditambah atau dikurangkan dengan mengubah lebar denyut. Dengan menetapkan sensor keadaan bit yang berbeza, strategi kawalan motor digunakan untuk mengawal motor DC. Robot ini dapat mengikuti jalan yang diberikan dengan betul tanpa campur tangan manusia. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Line following robot is an automated mobile robot that can follow a black line on a white background or a white line on a black background. The robot uses several reflective object sensors to identify the black line and white background. The robot is driven using direct current (DC) motor to control the movement of the wheels. AVR Butterfly microcontroller board is used to interface with the reflective object sensors and two DC motors. Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) method is used in speed control of motor. The amount of the power supplied to the motor speed can be increased or decreased by varying the width of the pulse. By setting different sensor bits condition, motor control strategy is applied to control DC motor. The robot is able to follow the assigned path correctly without human intervention.
