Telefon pintar telah menjadi semakin penting dalam hidupan harian. Dalam projek ini, telefon pintar digunakan sebagai pemantauan jarak jauh terhadap lif. Projek ini dilaksanakan dengan menubuhkan satu pelayan web. Dengan mengakses ke laman web tersebut, pengguna boleh memantau kedudukan lif dalam bangunan pada masa tersebut. Laman web tersebut dicipta dengan kod HTML5. HTML5 dapat menunjukkan beberapa fungsi tambahan seperti memain music later belakang dan video selain daripada menunjukkan fungsi asas. Untuk memaparkan kedudukan lif pada laman web, isu masa perlu diperhatikan. Tujuan menggunakan laman web untuk pemantauan jarak jauh ialah untuk membolehkan telefon pintar Android ataupun iPhone akses ke laman tersebut. Projek ini bermula dengan ciptaan laman web untuk memaparkan tarikh, masa dan kedudukan lif. Sterusnya, fungsi multimedia turut ditambahkan. Ujian dijalankan untuk memastikan projek ini berfungsi. Langkah terakhir ialah ciptaan Android App yang membuka laman web tersebut selepas pengguna berjaya log masuk. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah diperolehi, objektif projek ini telah dicapai mana telefon pintar boleh fungsi sebagai operasi panel lif. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Smartphones are getting more and more common. It gradually becomes an essential part in the daily life. In this project, smartphone is used for remote monitoring towards elevator. The way used to implement this is the embedded web server where the embedded system of elevator is integrated with the Internet technology. Smartphone can remotely monitor the current floor position of the elevator by accessing to the web server. The web page is created using HTML5 language. The language is able to carry out some extra features such as play background music and videos besides of just showing the basic function. To display the current floor position, timing issues are handled correctly to avoid unnecessary delay. In this project, all the functions in the existing Elevator Cabin Operating Panel are fully implemented. The purpose to achieve remote monitoring by setting up a web host is to allow any authorized smartphone which is equipped with network connection and browser can access regardless to the platform of the smartphone. The project starts with the web host creation to display the day, time and date and floor number. Then, it is followed by the multimedia features implementation. Testing with actual Elevator Controller is done afterwards to make sure the project is working in the actual environment. Last step is the Android application creation which directs the user to the page after successful signing in. Based on the output and result obtained, the project’s objectives are completely achieved where smartphone is used as a remote Elevator Cabin Operating Panel.
