Investigation of Seismic Vulnerability of Reinforced Concrete Buliding in Malaysia using Fragility Curves Approach
In seismic risk mitigation policies, fragility functions of Px1st1ng buildings play a fundamental role. In this study, a procedure to evaluate the analytical flclQihty curves for moment resisting frame of reinforced concrete buildings will be presented The M l!.>rnic capacity of the selected models representing the existing RC buildings will be evaluatld through non-linear static and dynamic simulations. From this study, relationships among st1ucturnl performance, damage levels and interstorey drift ratios for each studied type will be 1nvc .t1gntcd, which is calibrated using the damage levels can be developed.
