Projek ini menyelidik tentang masalah yang berkaitan dengan keretakan di Masjid Seri Ampangan, Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang. Skop kerja ini merangkumi ukuran tanpa musnah ke atas retakan turapan dengan mengaplikasikan Thermal Infra-Red (TIR) dan teknik fotografi digital berdefinisi tinggi (HD). Ukuran Tanpa Musnah digunakan untuk mengelakkan gangguan terhadap retakan dan sesuai digunakan ke atas kajian yang memerlukan subjek halus yang perlu dikekalkan sebanyak mungkin. Dari imej digital yang diperoleh, imej retakan dianalisa dengan lebih mendalam dengan menggunakan teknik pemprosesan imej di dalam perisian Sistem Informasi Geografi (GIS) dan perisisan imej termal SMARTVIEW. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk menganalisa imej retakan turapan dan mengkaji corak dan profil retakan turapan dalam bentuk digital. Integrasi antara imej TIR dan HD dapat menghasilkan satu model retakan turapan dan keadaan termalnya dapat menjelaskan karakter retakan turapan di bahagian dalaman. Tambahan pula, penggunaan perisian ini membantu dalam penghasilan keputusan yang lebih tepat dalam masa yang lebih singkat dan menjadikan ia mudah difahami oleh pelbagai penonton. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ This project investigates the crack related problem at Masjid Seri Ampangan, Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang. The scope of work covers non-destructive measurement of pavement cracks by applying Thermal Infra-Red (TIR) and High Definition (HD) digital photographic technique. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is used to avoid giving disturbance to the crack and is suitable for studies that require delicate subject which need to be preserved as much as possible. From digital image capture, the crack images are further analyzed using digital image processing technique available in Geographic Information System (GIS) software and SMARTVIEW thermal imaging software. The objectives of this research are to analyses pavement crack images and studying the pattern and profile of pavement cracks in digital form. The integration of TIR and HD images can generate a model of pavement crack and its thermal conditions can describe the characteristics of the internal pavement cracks. Furthermore, the usage of this software helps in giving more accurate results within shorter time and making it easier to be understood by various audiences.
