Abstract This standard covers a range of tubular fluorescent lamps for general lightning service which are operated on a.c. mains. Lamps of the following types are included: a) lamps with pre-heated cathodes operated with the use of a stater; b) lamps with pre-heated cathodes operated without use of the stater; c) lamps with pre-heated cathodes operated with or without the use of stater; d) lamps with non pre-heated cathodes operated without the use of a stater.
