Sesuatu rekabentuk, fabrikasi dan analisis sistem penghantaran kuasa helikopter sepaksi telah dibentangkan di dalam tesis ini. Keperluan sistem penghantaran kuasa helikopter sepaksi ini menggunakan elemen kontra-putaran sebagai anti-tork. Ini membawa maksud, penghantaran kuasa telah menghantar kuasa daripada enjin kepada kedua-dua set bilah pemutar yang diperlukan untuk berputar dalam arah yang berbeza. Sistem penghantaran kuasa menggunakan differential hadapan kereta 4WD sebagai komponen utama dan kebanyakan bahagian differential hadapan telah diubahsuai untuk memenuhi keperluan operasi sistem penghantaran kuasa bagi helikopter sepaksi. Berdasarkan rekabentuk, fabrikasi telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan mesin di bengkel. Salah satu komponen operasi kritikal yang mengalami banyak tork dan juga keadaan kritikal oleh unsur-unsur yang direka telah dipilih untuk dianalisis dengan menggunakan kaedah unsur terhingga. Hasil daripada sistem yang direka, produk fabrikasi dan analisa satu bahagian kritikal telah ditunjukkan di dalam tesis ini. Keputusan analisis-analisis menunjukkan bahawa tekanan kritikal berlaku semasa tork maksimum telah digunakan kepada aci pemacu yang membawa tork kepada bilah pemutar. Analisis menunjukkan bagaimana aci pemacu bertindak balas apabila ia berada dalam penghantaran tork maksimum dan pada kelajuan maksimum putaran bilah. ___________________________________________________________________________________ A design, fabrication and analysis of a power transmission system of coaxial helicopter are presented in this thesis. The requirement of the power transmission system of coaxial helicopter is using the contra-rotating element as its anti-torque. Meaning that, the power transmission is transmitting power from the engine to the two sets of rotor blades which is needed to rotate in different directions. The power transmission system is using front differential of 4WD cars as its main components and most of the parts in the front differential have been modified to fulfill the requirement of the operations of power transmission system for coaxial helicopter. Based on the design, the fabrication has been done by using machining tool in the workshop. One components critical operation which experience much torque and critical condition of designed elements has been chosen to be analyzed using finite element method. The result of system designed, fabrication products and one critical part’s analysis are shown in this thesis. The analyses results show the critical stresses occur during the maximum torque apply to the drive shaft which bring the torque to the rotor blades set. The analysis shows how the drive shaft reacts when it is in the maximum torque transmission and at the maximum speed of blades rotation.
