Kini, aplikasi gelombang frekuensi radio (RF) mempunyai permintaan yang tinggi dalam bidang industri, perubatan dan tentera. Pelbagai-teriminal reflektometer (MPR) adalah satu alat pengukur alternatif kepada penganalisis rangkaian vector (VNA). Ia mengukur nisbah kompleks antara gelombang terpantul dan datang yang dikenali sebagai pekali pantulan, Γ. Walau bagaimanapun, projek ini hanya memberi tumpuan kepada rekabentuk MPR sebagai alat pengukuran mudah alih dan kos rendah tanpa kaedah pembetulan ralat. Susunan rekabentuk MPR yang dicadangkan mengandungi beberapa pengganding beranting hibrid dan dua bahagian pembahagi kuasa. Ia beroperasi dalam julat frekuensi ultra-jalur lebar di antara 3 dan 8 GHz. Keputusan simulasi dan ukuran parameter berselerak bagi MPR yang dicadangkan menunjukkan persetujuan yang baik dengan beberapa perincian yang sesuai. Beberapa magnitud pekali pantulan bagi pelbagai peranti yang diukur (DUTs) dikira dengan menggantikan keputusan ukuran bagi beberapa keluaran parameter berselerak ke dalam ungkapan matematik. Dengan membezakan keputusan ukuran beberapa magnitud pekali pantulan daripada beberapa peranti menggunakan MPR dan VNA, perbezaan tersebut didapati sebanyak 0.05 untuk piawai penamatan beban, manakala 0.01 untuk kedua-dua piawai penamatan pintas dan terbuka. Oleh itu, MPR adalah pengganti terbaik bagi VNA. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Nowadays, radio frequency (RF) applications have a high demand in industrial, medical, and military fields. The multi-port reflectometer (MPR) is an alternative measuring device to the vector network analyzer (VNA). It can measure a complex ratio between reflected and incident waves at an input port of a uniform transmission terminated line as known as reflection coefficient, Γ. However, this project is only focusing on the design of MPR as a portable and low-cost measurement instrument without an error correction method. The configuration design of this proposed MPR constitutes branch-line hybrid couplers and two-stage Wilkinson power dividers. It can operate within ultra-wideband frequency range between 3 and 8 GHz. The simulation and measurement results of S-Parameters for the proposed MPR show good agreement with the ideal specifications. The reflection coefficient magnitudes, |Γ| of the devices under test (DUTs) can be calculated by substituting the measurement results of output S-Parameters into particular mathematical expressions. By comparing the measurement results of reflection coefficient magnitudes of the DUTs using MPR and VNA, the difference is found to be 0.05 for load, whereas 0.01 for short and open standard terminations. Thus, MPR is the best replacement for the VNA.
