Multiple Input Multiple Output ortogon Bahagian Kekerapan Akses Pelbagai (MIMO-OFDMA) telah menarik banyak perhatian untuk sistem jalur lebar tanpa wayar masa depan. Para penyelidik telah bertukar minat mereka ke dalam gabungan antara teknik OFDMA dan MIMO dan apabila digabungkan, terbukti mempunyai kelebihan yang serius ke atas sistem komunikasi tradisional. Sistem MIMO OFDMA juga menyediakan peningkatan dalam pemprosesan data tanpa peningkatan dalam jalur lebar dan juga menyediakan pengurangan pudar. Walau bagaimanapun, kelemahan utama sistem OFDMA adalah puncak tinggi kepada nisbah kuasa purata (PAPR). Kelemahan ini boleh dikurangkan dengan beberapa kaedah tetapi kebanyakannya menyebabkan peningkatan dalam kadar ralat bit (BER), kerugian kadar data dan boleh meningkatkan dalam kerumitan pengiraan. Oleh itu, kaedah pengekodan telah digunakan untuk mengurangkan PAPR itu. Dalam projek ini, dua objektif dikenalpasti. Objektif pertama adalah untuk menilai prestasi PAPR menggunakan konvolusi LDPC Kod teknik dalam sistem MIMO OFDMA. Kemudian, objektif yang kedua ialah untuk menyiasat kaedah untuk mencapai kepelbagaian maksimum dalam sistem MIMO OFDMA. Projek ini mencapai objektif dalam empat peringkat, iaitu memahami konsep MIMO OFDMA dan teknik pengurangan PAPR, pelaksanaan algoritma, mendapatkan keputusan simulasi dan menganalisis keputusan simulasi. Keputusan simulasi menunjukkan bahawa dengan menggunakan Kod LDPC konvolusi teknik boleh mengurangkan PAPR berbanding menyekat pengekodan LDPC dan hampir semua nilai BER sedikit dikurangkan apabila teknik kod LDPC digunakan. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Multiple Input Multiple Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (MIMO OFDMA) has attracted much attention for the future broadband wireless systems. Researchers have turned their interest into the combination between OFDMA and MIMO techniques and when combined, proved to have serious advantages over traditional communication system. MIMO OFDMA systems further provide an increase in the data throughput without an increase in the bandwidth and also provide a reduction in the fading. However, the main drawback of OFDMA systems is the highest peak to average power ratio (PAPR). This disadvantage can be reduced by a number of methods but most of them cause an increase in the bit error rate (BER), data rates loss and can increase in the computational complexity. Thus, the coding methods have been used to reduce the PAPR. In this project, two objectives are identified. The first objective is to evaluate the performance of the PAPR using convolutional LDPC codes technique in MIMO OFDMA system. Then, the second objective is to investigate method to achieve maximum diversity order in the MIMO OFDMA system. This project is progressing in four stages, which are understand the concept of MIMO OFDMA and PAPR reduction technique, implementation of algorithm, obtaining simulation results, and analyzing the simulation results. Simulation results shows that by using convolutional LDPC codes technique can reduce PAPR compared to block coding LDPC and almost all value of BER is slightly reduced when LDPC code technique is used.
