BS EN 61325:1996 is a British Standard that was adopted from the European Standard EN 61325:1995. The standard is titled "Electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use - EMC requirements - Radiation immunity." It specifies the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for electrical equipment used for measurement, control, and laboratory use, with regard to radiation immunity. The standard covers the measurement, control, and laboratory equipment that may be exposed to electromagnetic radiation from various sources, such as radio frequency (RF) transmitters, industrial equipment, power lines, and other electromagnetic fields. It provides requirements for the equipment's immunity to radiated electromagnetic fields in the frequency range of 9 kHz to 18 GHz. BS EN 61325:1996 outlines the test methods and performance criteria to assess the radiation immunity of the equipment. It specifies the levels of electromagnetic fields to be used during testing, as well as the test procedures and evaluation criteria for determining compliance. It is worth noting that standards are subject to updates and revisions over time. Therefore, it is recommended to refer to the latest version of the standard or consult with the appropriate regulatory authorities or standards organizations for the most up-to-date information.
