Penuaian tenaga pada kipas syiling ialah pertukaran tenaga kinetic kepada tenaga elektrik. Penuaian tenaga adalah proses di mana tenaga diperolehi daripada sumber-sumber luar yang dituai dan disimpan dalam jumlah yang kecil kepada alat-alat tanpa wayar secara langsung. Tenaga mikro yang dituai dan disimpan di dalam peranti seperti brek regeneratif, piezoelektrik dan banyak perkara lain yang menggunakan konsep penuaian tenaga. Tujuan projek ini adalah untuk menghasilkan tenaga elektrik dari kipas siling. Selain berfungsi sebagai sistem penyejukan, tenaga kinetic boleh ditukar kepada tenaga elektrik. Dalam kajian ini, eksperimen dibuat untuk menuai tenaga daripada putaran kipas siling. Daripada elektrik yang dihasilkan, ia boleh dibekalkan kepada peralatan lain. Kipas siling sebagai sumber untuk pengeluaran tenaga. Rekabentuk yang bersesuaian dengan kipas syiling telah dibuat dan dijadikan sebagai prototaip. Satu dynamo telah dipilih untuk dipasang dengan kipas siling. Penjanaan elektrik dihasilkan disebabkan oleh geseran dinamo dengan kipas siling yang berputar. Keputusan yang diperolehi dipengaruhi oleh reka bentuk projek. Penuaian proses tenaga daripada kipas siling telah ditunjukkan dan hasil daripada kuasa masukan dan kelajuan kipas siling telah dianalisis. Projek ini telah berjaya menjana tenaga maksimum pada nilai 7.25Vac. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Energy harvesting from ceiling fan is the conversion of kinetic energy to electrical energy. Energy harvesting is the process in which energy obtained from the external sources is captured and stored in small, free wireless devices. This micro energy is captured and stored in devices such as the regenerative brake, piezoelectric. The aim of this project is to generate electricity from rotation of a ceiling fan. Other than functioning as a cooling system, the kinetic energy can be converted to the electrical energy. In this research, the experiment is done by harvesting the energy from the rotation of the ceiling fan. From the generated electricity, it can be supplied to other equipment. The ceiling fan is used as the source of energy production. A design has been made to be suit with the ceiling fan and has been made as a prototype. A bicycle dynamo was selected to be attached to the ceiling fan. Electricity was generated due to the attachment of the dynamo to the rotated ceiling fan. The results obtained was affected by the design of the project. The harvesting energy process from the ceiling fan had been shown and the result of the input power and the speed of ceiling fan had been analyzed. The project had successfully generate a maximum of 7.25V in AC output voltage.
