Dalam kajian ini, tingkah laku rasuk konkrit bergetah bertetulang berskala penuh semasa lenturan seperti beban-pesongan, modulus pecah dan tegasan-terikan sedang disiasat. Tujuan utama kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk mengkaji fleksibiliti rasuk konkrit bergetah bertetulang berskala penuh semasa lenturan. Butiran getah carikan yang digunakan adalah dari jenis carikan secara mekanikal dengan saiz antara 0.05mm hingga 5mm sebagai gantian kepada 20% pasir berdasarkan isipadu. Tiga jenis rasuk konkrit bertetulang disediakan dengan butiran getah carikan dimasukkan kedalam rasuk bergetah dan rasuk konkrit bertetulang hibrid. Ujian kekuatan lenturan (menggunakan rasuk disokong mudah dengan titik pembeban ketiga) dijalankan bagi mengkaji tingkah laku rasuk pada hari ke 28. Keputusan menunjukkan prestasi rasuk konkrit bergetah bertetulang adalah sama dengan rasuk konkrit hibrid bertetulang ketika rekahan pertama. Rasuk konkrit hibrid bertetulang mempunyai nilai lenturan yang rendah sedikit daripada rasuk konkrit bergetah bertetulang. Hal ini menunjukkan rasuk hibrid mempunyai nilai kekerasan lebih tinggi berbanding rasuk konkrit bergetah bertetulang. Rasuk konkrit bergetah bertetulang menunjukkkan prestasi yang lebih baik dari segi nilai modulus pecah, index kelenturan dan tegasan-terikan berbanding rasuk konkrit hibrid bertetulang. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ In this study, the behaviour of full scale rubberized reinforced concrete beam in bending such as load-deflection behaviour, modulus of rupture and stress-strain behaviour are being investigated. The main target of this study is to investigate the flexibility of the full scale rubberized reinforced concrete beam in bending. Mechanical shredded crumb rubber with sizes between 0.05mm to 5mm was used as a replacement for 20% fine aggregate by volume. Three types of reinforced concrete beams are prepared with the introduction of crumb rubber in fully rubberized and hybrid reinforced concrete beam. Flexural strength of concrete test (using a simple beam with third point loading) is carried out to investigate the behaviour of the beam specimen at 28 days. The result revealed that performance of rubberized reinforced concrete beam is same with hybrid reinforced concrete beam during the first crack load. Hybrid reinforced concrete beam has a slightly lower deflection compare to rubberized reinforced concrete beam. This indicates the stiffness of hybrid reinforced concrete beam is slightly higher compared to rubberized reinforced concrete beam. The rubberized reinforced concrete beam show a better performance in modulus of rupture, ductility index and stress-strain value compare to hybrid reinforced concrete beam.
