Kawalan modal dalaman (IMC) merupakan sebuah pendekatan kawalan yang mengintegrasikan modal loji ke dalam pengawal sistem. Walaupun kehadiran kekangan penggerak biasanya akan menyebabkan masalah gerak acu, masalah ini boleh diselesaikan dengan skema anti-gerak acu. Namum begitu, pengetahuan mengenai kestabilan mantap sistem IMC masih lagi diperlukan untuk tujuan prestasi dan keselamatan kerana kerumitan proses industri yang semakin meningkat. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk memberi lebih penekanan kepada IMC diskret-masa dengan skema anti-gerak acu dan merumuskan struktur ini kepada sebuah rangka kerja yang umum di mana kestabilan sistem dalam kehadiran ketidakpastian boleh dianalisis. Sebuah kriteria yang lebih kurang konservatif yang berdasarkan kriteria Jury-Lee telah diaplikasikan bersama dengan kriteria Tsypkin dalam rangka kerja ini. Beberapa jenis ketidakpastian telah dimasukkan ke dalam sistem untuk membandingkan ke-konservatif-an kriteria-kriteria tersebut. Kriteria Jury-Lee telah dibuktikan mampu memberikan keputusan yang lebih kurang konservatif dan dengan itu menjadikannya sebuah kriteria yang sesuai untuk analisis kestabilan mantap untuk sistem yang mempunyai ketaklinearan yang static. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Internal Model Control (IMC) is a very popular control approach that integrates the model of the plant into the controller. Although the presence of actuator constraint in IMC usually leads to windup issues, it can be negated by the anti-windup scheme. However, robust stability of IMC system is still a required knowledge for performance and safety purposes as the complexity of industry processes keep growing. This thesis seeks to put more emphasis on discrete-time IMC with anti-windup scheme and restructure it into a general framework where the stability of the system in the presence of uncertainties can be analysed. A less conservative stability condition based on Jury-Lee criterion and Tsypkin criterion are applied in this general framework. Several types of uncertainties are included into the system to compare the conservativeness of the criteria. It is demonstrated that Jury-Lee criterion provides less conservative results thus making it a suitable criterion for robustness stability analysis for system with static nonlinearity.
