BS EN 60641-2:1996 is a European standard that specifies the requirements for "Pressboard and presspaper for electrical purposes". It is part of a series of standards that cover materials used in the construction of electrical equipment.
In particular, BS EN 60641-2:1996 specifies the requirements for pressboard and presspaper made from cellulose fibers or cotton fibers, which are used as insulation in electrical equipment such as transformers, reactors, and chokes.
