BS 952-1:1995 Glass for glazing - Part 1. Classification

BS 952-1 is a British Standard. BS 952-1 is the 1st part of BS 952 series on glass for glazing. The current version of BS 952-1 is prepared under the direction of the Sector Board for Building and Civil Engineering. BS 952-1 categorizes a wide range of glass that is used for glazing. BS 952-1 consists of references, scope, and very detailed classification of glasses especially soda lime-silicate glasses. BS 952-1 also contains special composition of glasses. BS 952-1 classifies glass for use in building into three glass compositions: the commonly used soda lime-silicate glass, borosilicate glass and glass ceramics.
