This Part of BS 6G 205 specifies the characteristics, interchangeability dimensions, performance levels, quality assurance requirements and test procedures for lead-acid batteries used on aerobatic and non-aerobatic aircraft for general purposes. Tests are included which are appropriate for the evaluation of valve regulated sealed batteries. Annexes A to C specify the characteristics of batteries in battery groups 1 to 3.
