Abstract This International Standard defines the terms used in the aircraft industry related to aircraft Electric cables and cable harnesses. NOTES Slight differences exist between terms used in the aircraft industry and those given in IEC 461 which have a wider application. In addition to terms used in the three official ISO languages (English, French and Russian), this International Standard gives the equivalent terms in the German language; these have been included at the request of ISO/TC 20/SC 1, and are published under the responsibility of the member body for Germany (DIN). However, only the terms given in the official languages can be considered as ISO terms.
