Abstract This Part of BS 4592 specifies requirements for solid plates intended for use in flooring, walkways and stair treads. NOTE 1. This standard does not cover agricultural uses (see BS 6502) NOTE 2. The method of test for strength and deflection is in annex A, information to be supplied at the time of enquiry or order is given in clause 4 and recommendations for the installation of plates are given in annex B.
